Many are are constantly asking what they can do to help LVR thrive. Giving financially is the obvious answer, as it takes a lot of resources to run a rustic camp and retreat center. More than I could have ever realized as a camper or summer staph. But what if about you don’t think giving is a good option for you? What if you want to see specifically what your resources are going to? Maybe you want to physically leave your imprint on something that has left is spiritual imprint on you.
Here are projects (and their estimated price point) that we hope to accomplish in 2025. We have projects focusing on everything from safety to practical to beautification. Projects:
Kitchen at Frontier Village – $6,000

Vaulted privy at Frontier Village – $3,000

*If you have someone that can do masonry block then we would do that. Price would be similar.
Tent platforms – $4,000

Gun range trailers – $4,000
- Framing
- Roof sealer
- Paint

Cabin Mattresses – $5,000
Pole-vilion and base camp lights – $3000
Furniture in Moose – $4,000
Refinishing the Floor in bathhouse – $5,000
Beyond these projects, we have quite a few vehicles that need replacing. Replacing these vehicles and tools would allow us to spend less time working on vehicles and more time focusing on the above projects around camp. We recognize the list of needs is long. If you currently own one of these vehicles and are interested in giving it to camp, or would like to help partially fund a tool, please reach out to us.
Vehicle Replacement
- Backhoe – $40,000
- Skid steer – $30,000
- F550 dump truck 4×4 – $20,000
- 1/2 ton pickup 4×4 – $10,000
- Promo/car – $10,000
- Plow truck 4×4 – $10,000
- Dump trailer – $8,000
- UTV 4×4 – $10,000
- Backup generator – $10,000
*If we replace the dump truck, we would not need a dump trailer and it would double as a plow vehicle. If we go with the dump trailer we would need a 1 ton 4×4 truck that would also be a plow truck.
