Backpack in some of Colorado’s most beautiful terrain, try your hand at archery & tomahawks, go rock climbing & rappelling, enjoy horseback riding, and so much more!

Our summer programs are for kids ranging in ages 4-17.

Summer Camp

Experience the awesomeness of LVR during these week-long sessions. Ages 8-17, $490 - $660

Horse Adventures

Campers can build lasting relationships with the horses and look forward to seeing them each year when they return. Ages 8-17; $520 - $720

Frontier Village

Campers get to experience how some things were done 150 years ago while staying in cabins that are ready for campers who like adventure. Campers ages 11-17: $440 - $520

Young Adventurers

These short weekend camps are designed to introduce children to camp for the first time. 6-8 year olds; $130/camper

Kinder Kamp

This special camp is for 1 child and 1 parent, grandparent, or guardian. Enjoy many fun camp activities with your little one to help them get used to being at camp. 4-5 year olds: $160 for 1 adult & 1 child; $45/additional person

Backpacking Adventures

Campers and staff head off base camp to experience tent camping, long hikes, camp stove cooking and an adventurous week completely outdoors. Ages 11-17; $590

Additional Experiences

LVR offers additional experiences for the camper who wants to get the most out of God’s wonderful creation.

Extra Rock Climbing

Campers will get more personal time and coaching by LVR staff. This includes two full mornings (about 2 hours) of climbing. Gear is provided. Cost $40

Horseback Rides

Add this experience for your camper(s) for just $40/ride. Each camper can add on just 1 horse ride during their week of camp.

Overnight Pack Trip

Campers will spend a night tent camping off-site and hiking between 1-3 miles. The night will include eating pack meals and spending time around the campfire (if permitted) and campers will hike back the next morning to return to their cabin groups. Cost is $40.

Mountain Biking

Add a morning of mountain biking on LVR’s pump course and surrounding trails. Learn biking techniques and get a taste for the more extreme form of cycling. Cost is $40.

Rockets

Give your kid(s) the experience of building and launching their own rocket! This is such a fun addition to the camp experience. Cost is $35.

Late Checkout

Checkout for week-long camps is on Fridays at noon and for weekend camps on Sundays at 11 A.M. If you’re late, you will be charged $40, since we have to pay staff to stick around longer. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
