What we do

Summer Adventures

Backpack in some of Colorado’s most beautiful terrain, try your hand at archery & tomahawks, go rock climbing & rappelling, enjoy horseback riding, and so much more!

Our summer programs are for kids ranging in ages 4-17.


Middle School Week

Bring your middle school aged youth group for a week focused them! We will build our leadership skills and grow our faith in Christ.

Summer Camp

Discover the awesomeness of LVR during these week-long residential sessions filled with adventure, friendship, and faith. Ages 8–14.

Family Camp

Bring the whole family or gather some friends for a fun weekend with activities for all ages. Everyone is welcome. June 12–15, 2026.

Horse Adventures

Campers spend the week connecting with the horses and look forward to seeing them again when they return each year. Ages 8–17.

Frontier Village

Experience how life was lived 150 years ago with hands-on adventures and cabin living for campers who love adventure. Ages 11–17.

Young Adventurers

These short weekend camps are designed to introduce kids to camp for the first time with fun activities and new friends. Ages 6–8.

Kinder Kamp

A special camp for one child and one parent, grandparent, or guardian to enjoy fun activities together and get comfortable at camp. Ages 4–5.

LVR offers additional experiences for the camper who wants to get the most out of God’s wonderful creation.


Horseback Rides

Is any camp experience really complete without a horseback ride? We don’t think so! Experience our 236 acres alongside your favorite animals.

Overnight Pack Trip

Campers will spend a night tent camping off-site and hiking between 1-3 miles. The night will include eating pack meals and spending time around the campfire (if permitted) and campers will hike back the next morning to return to their cabin groups.
Cost is $40.

Mountain Biking

Add a morning of mountain biking on LVR’s pump course and surrounding trails. Learn biking techniques and get a taste for the more extreme form of cycling.
Cost is $40.

Rockets

Give your kid(s) the experience of building and launching their own rocket! This is such a fun addition to the camp experience.
Cost is $35.

Late Checkout

Checkout for week-long camps is on Fridays at noon and for weekend camps on Sundays at 11 A.M. If you’re late, you will be charged $40, since we have to pay staff to stick around longer.
